According to a Facebook event published by Marsha Champagne, Joey Champagne, and Brian Lafontaine, Thomaston will play host to a bar crawl on Saturday, December 21st. The event invites participants to enjoy a festive evening at several of the our town’s favorite spots, highlighting the impressive bar scene and community spirit.
The evening kicks off at Clocktown Brewing Company, located at 135 South Main Street, at 6:00 PM. Known for its handcrafted beers and welcoming atmosphere, Clocktown Brewing Company provides the perfect starting point for the night’s festivities.
After Clocktown, the crawl will move to:
- Crabby Al’s at 157 East Main Street: The classic seafood spot where participants can enjoy fresh, hearty fare alongside a selection of drinks.
- Holly’s Place Cafe at 117 East Main Street: A cozy neighborhood bar ideal for relaxing with friends and sampling signature beverages.
- Black Rock Tavern at 78 Main Street: Renowned for its friendly ambiance and wide-ranging menu, Black Rock is a must-stop for food and drink enthusiasts.
- Raf’s at 1 South Main Street: A favorite local hangout that promises good vibes and great drinks to keep the evening rolling.
- Sips at 180 Watertown Rd: The final stop of the night, Sips offers a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for wrapping up the crawl in style.
The event is open to all those aged 21 and older. While there are no formal timeframes for each stop beyond the 6:00 PM start at Clocktown, attendees are encouraged to pace themselves to enjoy every venue on the list.
Participants are welcome to don festive attire to enhance the holiday spirit, with plenty of opportunities to share the joy of the season with friends and fellow revelers. Attendees are advised to arrange for safe transportation.
