Landmark Community Theatre, based in the historic Thomaston Opera House, has unveiled its 2025 performance lineup, featuring a wonderful array of productions that promise to captivate audiences throughout the year.
The performances are as follows:
Love Letters
A Valentine’s Weekend special event, this poignant play explores the deep connection between two lifelong friends through their exchanged letters, revealing their hopes, dreams, and missed opportunities. Performances are scheduled to begin on February 13, 2025.
Rent
A rock musical that following a group of young artists struggling to create and survive in New York City’s East Village. The show starts on March 15, 2025.
Our Town
Thornton Wilder’s classic play that delves into the everyday lives of the residents of Grover’s Corners, reminding audiences to appreciate the beauty in ordinary moments. Performances commence on April 26, 2025.
Shrek the Musical
Based on the 2008 film, this family-friendly production follows the journey of an ogre who begins a quest to rescue a princess, discovering unexpected friendships along the way. Performances begin July 12, 2025.
Fiddler on the Roof
A rescheduled production from Fall 2024, this timeless musical tells the story of Tevye, a Jewish dairyman in Russia, as he navigates tradition and change within his family and community. Performances scheduled to begin on October 4, 2025, at 8:00 PM EDT.
Miracle on 34th Street
A Christmas classic featuring a department store Santa Claus claiming to be the real Santa Clause. The show starts on December 6, 2025.
