Thomaston Savings Bank and Patti’s Place To Be Honored at Recognition Event

The Thomaston Economic Development Commission (EDC) is set to host its annual Business Recognition Event on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Clocktown Brewing Company. The event will feature light refreshments and a cash bar. Tickets are priced at $25 each and can be purchased online.

About the Economic Development Commission

The Economic Development Commission plays a pivotal role in Thomaston’s growth. According to the town website, “The mission of the Economic Development Commission (EDC) is to organize and promote sound economic growth to Thomaston by stimulating the expansion of existing businesses, attracting new enterprises, and assuring a favorable community climate for new ideas and economic growth while respecting the character and history of the community.”

The EDC meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Conference Room in Town Hall. These meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
