Following the rejection of the proposed budget by just two votes in referendum, Thomaston’s Board of Finance will meet Tuesday, June 3, to discuss possible adjustments to the fiscal year 2026 budget. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Meeting Room One at Town Hall.

The only item on the agenda is discussion of the budget, and the agenda includes time for public comment—giving residents a chance to weigh in before any changes are made.

Participation at this stage can influence what revisions the Board may consider before bringing a new proposal to voters.
