Booster Club to Host Golf Tournament – Sept 21

The Golden Bears Booster Club is hitting the green in September for the Brown & Gold Golf Tournament, a spirited event to support Thomaston High School athletes.

The tournament will be held Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Fairview Farm Golf Course in Harwinton. Registration and lunch begin at 11:00 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Dinner and raffles will follow at 5:00 p.m.

Golfers will play 18 holes and enjoy a day packed with contests, prizes, and team spirit. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, as well as contests like longest drive (men’s and women’s), closest-to-the-pin, putting, and Beat the Pro. Brown & gold attire is encouraged to show support for the Bears.

Registration is $800 for a foursome or $400 for a twosome, including 18 holes of golf with a golf cart, lunch, and dinner. Early registration is open through August 15, with $25 discounts available per golfer using the following codes at checkout:

From the Booster Club’s website: “The Thomaston High School Golden Bears Booster Club is a dedicated group of parents, volunteers and student representatives whose mission is to enrich the THS high school and middle school athletic community by providing financial support for THS athletic programs – funding areas of need that are not fully covered by the school budget. We are dedicated to the continued support of our student athletes and coaching staff. We strive to support athletic and academic excellence, create a winning school spirit, promote team unity, and maintain the history and tradition of excellence for all student athletes at Thomaston High School.
