Music lovers of all kinds will have something to look forward to in 2026, as Landmark Community Theatre (LCT) has announced the return of its concert series at the Thomaston Opera House. The lineup blends classic rock, country, and holiday music, offering a range of performances for residents looking for a night out close to home.
The season begins on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, with Piano Man Meets Rocket Man, a tribute concert celebrating the music of Billy Joel and Elton John. The performance brings together many of the artists’ best known songs in a single evening, opening the series with a focus on familiar hits presented in an intimate setting.
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, the Opera House will host Pure Prairie League for one night only. Now in their sixth decade, the country rock group is known for songs including “Amie” and “Let Me Love You Tonight” and continues to perform live for audiences across generations.
The tribute series continues on Saturday, May 9, 2026, with Dancing Dream, a tribute to ABBA. The New York City based touring act recreates the group’s signature sound and style, performing many of ABBA’s most recognizable songs.
Beginnings, a tribute to the band Chicago, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026. The New York City based group performs music from Chicago’s classic era using the band’s original seven-piece configuration, aiming to recreate the sound and arrangements of the group’s early live performances.
The American Ride, a tribute to country artist Toby Keith, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at 8 p.m. The performance features a full band delivering many of Keith’s well-known hits, highlighting the music that defined his decades-long career. Patrons who previously purchased tickets are encouraged to check their tickets again, as the concert was rescheduled, with existing tickets honored for the new performance date.
The concert series concludes on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2026, with Ornament, a tribute to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The holiday themed production blends rock arrangements with traditional Christmas music, closing out the series with a performance designed for a festive experience for the audience.
