A friendly and flavorful competition is coming to Thomaston in the new year.

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, local restaurants will come together for the “Sip & Savor” event, kicking off Thomaston Restaurant Week at Clocktown Brewing Company. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and invites attendees to sample food and beverages while voting for “Best Appetizer” and “Best Cocktail/Mocktail” in Thomaston.

Sip & Savor brings multiple eateries under one roof, giving residents the chance to experience a range of local offerings in a single evening. Throughout the night, guests will cast votes to determine which restaurant takes home top honors.

Participating restaurants include Black Rock Tavern, Clocktown Brewing Company, Crabby Al’s, Cutie Pies Bakery & Cafe, Epicure Pizza, Greens N Things, Gringo’s Bar, Rozzi’s Restaurant, Señor Pancho’s, and Thai in Love.

Sip & Savor also serves as the official kickoff to Thomaston Restaurant Week, an event organized by The Restaurant Week Company. Restaurant Week programs are designed to highlight local dining by encouraging residents and visitors to explore area restaurants through special menus and promotions. For participating establishments, the week offers an opportunity to showcase their food and atmosphere while reaching new customers.

Tickets for the Sip & Savor kickoff event are limited, and attendees must be 21 years of age or older. Advance registration is required, and tickets can be reserved online.

With a mix of competition, community, and local flavor, Sip & Savor sets the stage for a week focused on celebrating Thomaston’s dining scene.
