JDT’s Ends 13 Years of Service in Thomaston

JDT’s on Main, a lovely restaurant next to Reeves Field, has announced its closure as the owners embark on retirement. The restaurant, located at 4 Main Street, will officially close their doors on Saturday, December 14th, concluding 13 years of service to the community.

In a heartfelt message on their website and their Facebook page, the owners expressed gratitude to their patrons, stating, “We have decided as a family to close JDT’s and begin enjoying our retirement! We will remain open until 12/14 and would love to see you all to celebrate the last 13 years we spent making memories.”

To accommodate customers with outstanding gift cards, JDT’s on Main will honor refunds for purchased gift cards through December 31, 2024. Customers are encouraged to contact Deb Kaiser directly at 860-483-1122 to arrange refunds.

The property at 4 Main Street is currently for sale, offering a turnkey restaurant opportunity or the potential for a new concept. Interested parties are invited to reach out to Deb Kaiser for more information.

JDT’s on Main has been a staple in the Thomaston community, known for its versatile menu and warm atmosphere. The restaurant prided itself on being a favorite spot for date nights, family dinners, and convenient take-out or delivery options. Their motto, “Come as a customer, leave as a friend,” resonated with many Thomastonians over the years.
