Amy Sedgwick is a licensed therapist and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in addiction recovery and trauma-informed care. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and, since 2022, has owned and operated a private practice in Thomaston. Previously, she held leadership positions at treatment centers across New England, focusing on staff training and retention, high-quality clinical care, and patient outcomes. She is EMDR-certified, a Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional, and a graduate of Yale’s Leadership Program and The Management Academy.
Volunteer / Community Involvement:
Sedgwick currently serves on the Thomaston Community Coalition and has been involved since its inception last year. She is also active with Project Graduation, supporting fundraising efforts and senior events. In addition, she served seven years on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Certification Board, including four years as president.
Personal Details:
Sedgwick has lived in Thomaston since 2012 with her spouse and their two children, ages 17 and 12, both of whom attend Thomaston High School and are active in sports and community programs.
